In the Element Suggestions forum, both ones have been used for counteracting each other for example, if someone suggests a realistic improvement on an element, he gets rejected by "It's Powder Toy, not Realistic Toy!!" or if we want game-like additions, we get "It's a simulator, not a game ... "

Yes, all games on Steam are very complex. Take Portal 2. You don't see that as a downloadable, couple-megabyte, one .exe file, do you? And vice versa, you don't see Powder Toy, which is a downloadable, couple-megabyte, one .exe file, on Steam.

    ^ i second that

TPT isn't really that complex, unlike Portal, L4D, CoD or Battlefield 3.

You didn't have to necro this steaming pile of carp just to say that, did you?

    I completely agree.
It takes 3 seconds to download TPT. It takes 3 hours to download Portal 2.
TPT is a simple game that doesn't cost anything. Portal 2 is an incredibly complex game that costs money.
TPT is more of a fun particle simulator. Portal 2 is more of a puzzle game.

Portal 2 is just an example - but you could say Portal 2 represents most of the games on Steam (when you're talking about complexity, etc.)

Powder Toy is not the right type of game for Steam, I did talk to Valve about it, their response was that, and I quote:
... determined that Steam is not a good fit for [The Powder Toy] distribution.
