Something has been bugging me about The Powder Toy, for solid particles it has no physics, if someone made a mod, i could have an iron pole or something, and it would fall but stay together, know what i mean? Is their anyone working on this?

First, please always search your post, because what you suggesting is a moving solid, which have been rejected several times.

Ok can you stop acting like an admin and why has it been rejected?

Moving solids. Research stuff before you post it. This has been suggested too many times to count. It has been rejected because it cannot easily be coded.

And I swear if you call me an admin too, I will contact someone who is a real admin and I can assure you they won't be pleased with how you are acting.

Moving solids would take too much work and was rejected many times. Also the fact it would take more power to process each from.

Also talking to everyone here, be nice and constructive. Don't automatically threaten and instead of saying it has been rejected, use the search bar, include a reaosn or two why it it. Demanding a direct and sure answer isn't something you should do, atleast say please?

I have this in my mod. You have to manually enable it for each element though. Type tpt.moving_solid("name of element"/element id) to enable it for anything. It works on all types and states of elements. There's also an option to enable rotation, but it's a little glitchy. I don't know why people always say this is impossible, it actually wasn't too hard. (Also, see BALL, the original moving solid)

Those are not moving solids.  They are a nice experiment and are fun to watch, but not the 'moving solids' people want (not to mention terribly glitchy in every way).

This can make "an iron pole or something, and it would fall but stay together", so it is at least what the poster probably wanted. I know it's completely fake moving solids, but it still acts sort of like it would if tpt was capable of having them. Different people want different amounts of moving solids, some want things like rope and pulleys and attaching them together, but other people realize that isn't possible, and only ask for something like in my mod.

These are solid objects that move, so depending on your definition of "moving solids", these are moving solids.

I wonder if I could make rope though, it may be possible somehow. I also still need to make it easier to make any shape moving solid, and maybe a tool to make any object move like one, without affecting other pieces of that element. With some work, a lot more is possible than what I already made. It might also be possible to make them less bouncy maybe, but i'm not sure. A lot of rewritting could be done.

Edit: @cracker64 Maybe you were using the old moving solids, I updated them to make them actually solid inside, and make tham a ton less glitchy. (this was back in version 16, on 6/14/12, before that, I know they were unstable and went through each other all the time). The problem now is that they bounce too much.

Edit2: I won't try rope anytime soon, since I won't have any time. I might try making them not bounce and stop when they hit something. I'm just worried that wouldn't work exactly how I planned, but if I did it, they would feel much less like bouncy balls, and more like the moving solids some people expect.
