Powder Toy on Steam?

If monies is an issue, I'd be happy to drop some coin. This would actually be a big boost to the TPT community, and attract all types of users, not just the ones we've been getting as of late. Not that there's anything wrong with that. */not to mention it will likely increase the number of members in BMN!/*

TPT is just not the right kind of game to be put on Steam.

You can't even consider TPT to be a casual sandbox game. It doesn't even have music!

I like how I can listen to my own music while playing TPT and not be bothered though, lol.

And i'm also not sure if steam is the right platform for tpt although it could be cool. I'm not paying to try and do greenlight >_>, but I would vote for it.

-_-. So you're saying TPT can't even be considerd to be a casual sandbox game, because it doesn't even have music! Danball's powder game is considerd a sandbox simulator. So is pyrosand and it doesn't have music nor sound. So are you high? or just fooling around ... *looks at oldmud0 like he's in a 6th grade math class.*

That isn't really doable under the GPL license.

It is totally doable, we would just have to release the source code and allow people to compile their own version to get it free.

And all the mod owners would probably make it free in their mods too.

But yeah I don't see why we would add in paid features >_>

we could maybe do a fundraiser to get the funds? even if it fails to get voted on greenlight it would probably get powder toy some attention

Funds are not the issue here. Last time Simon dealt with Steam, they pretty clearly stated TPT is not the kind of content they are after.
