This has always happened, since the front page rules were changed 6-8 years ago.
The front page formula favors recent saves that have gotten a lot of votes. A save that was just upvoted and got a vote is likely to fall into this criteria. It does this to encourage users to vote further. If it gets another downvote, it will fall off the front page. Otherwise, it might stay (briefly). The requirements to stay on front page become harder the longer you are there.
Anyway I'm sure it immediately fell off front page within like 10 minutes. Nothing to be at all concerned about.
Also, the view counters aren't instant, they don't update every single view, they only update in bulk every 10 minutes. This is to reduce unnecessary load on the database of updating the views table every time. Youtube does the same thing.
