elementary cellular automata

    elementary cellular automata is similar to GOL except it's one dimensional, usually each next generation is placed above or below the previous one but this would probably cause some lag, it's also possible to just make it all on the same line

     

    tbh this doesn't have much of a use but neither does GOL outside of some types being used for heaters/coolers sometimes. it just looks kinda cool, would be neat to have y'know what i'm saying?

    would either have a separate tab with all 256 rules (which i doubt) or would be customizeable via tmp (considering the rules are pretty simple and there's only 256 of them which can just be procedurally generated)
