Changing your Avatars

As the most recent addition to the forums, the new avatars add personalisation and identity to forum posts.
Unfortunately, the current method of changing avatars seems to be unknown or unfamilliar to most of our members, this announcement should explain how it works, and how to change your avatar.

Avatars are not hosted on this website, they are hosted and controlled by Gravatar. Gravatar is a free service that allows you to universally change and manage your avatar across many different forums, blogs and websites though a central location.

To change your avatar on this forum, you must first register an account with Gravatar (a very quick and easy process). Your Powder Toy account and Gravatar account is linked by your email address, so if you haven't already registered your Gravatar account using the e-mail you registered on the Powder Toy website, it is important that you add it later.

Also, I hope everyone enjoys the new forum look and feel.

    I got it.
There is a wait between when you shoose your avatar and when it gets put up. So be patient!
