STASIS WALL Bug

If you have a sparked conductor in un-powered stasis wall, when an EMP is activated, the sparked parts will still turn to BREL and other byproducts.

    How to Reproduce the Bug:

    1. Draw a square of STASIS WALL.

    2. Draw a line of INST (or any other conductor affected by an EMP) through it with part of it exposed.

    3. Power the INST.

    4. Activate the STASIS WALL so that there is solid spark.

    5. Activate the EMP.

    6. You will notice that the SPRK turns to BREL and other byproducts of an EMP.

I know this has to do with the coding of EMP (it just searches for any applicable conductors on the canvas), but if it is in STASIS WALL, it shouldn't be affected by EMP.

I disagree. Stasis wall is meant to stop particle updates from happening inside the wall. It doesn't prevent any particles outside of the wall from reacting with particles in the wall. There's probably 50 other examples you could find of this. EMP is just most obvious because it affects the entire screen, not a 2 pixel window around it.

This behavior won't be changed (neither will all the other cases where this happens)

    Oh, ok.
