With this test INST seems faster than conductive wall.
So its faster than the "instantaneous" wall.
Heres the test:

Interesting.
I decided to tweak the test a little by making the INST the same length as the wall and it shows even better that it's faster than the wall. It's a couple frames faster but just a few frames difference significantly speeds it up.
